Dr. Tarek Aly
BDS, MBA, CVA
Dr. Tarek Aly is a periodontist and dental entrepreneur who has built his career at the intersection of clinical dentistry and business leadership. With a BDS from Alexandria University, an MBA from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation, he brings a rare combination of clinical expertise and business acumen to the dental industry.
Tarek specializes in DSO platform development, mergers and acquisitions, business valuation, and dental organization management. He currently leads multiple ventures: CEO of Synergy Dental Group, Partner at NorthPeak Dental Group, Partner at Community Dental Partners, Co-Owner of Modern Smiles LLC (110 dental practices combined).
President- Precision Advisory LLC.
Co-founder- The Dental Science Alliance
Co-founder- The DSO Academy.
A published author and keynote speaker, Tarek is a recognized voice in the dental industry. He is an FAA-licensed pilot, a Toast Masters Competent Communicator, and a proud father of triplets.

Chief Dental Officer
Dr. Justin Tin
Dr. Tin has been in dentistry, both as a provider and within academia, for over 25+ years. Prior to SF Dental, Dr. Tin was a part of (non-ownership) several dental groups throughout his career, both in the states and in China, and gained experience across the spectrum of dentistry. In addition to his accomplishments as a proficient Dental Surgeon, Dr. Tin is a proponent of cutting-edge dental methodologies. In 1990, he achieved the distinction of being the first Asian American Dentist certified in CO2 Laser procedures. Furthermore, in 1991, he was among the pioneering practitioners in implant dentistry, obtaining certification in the Nobel Care Implant procedure. Dr. Tin's expertise led him to be invited by Capital Medical University in Beijing, China in 1993 to introduce CO2 laser techniques to students at the School of Stomatology.

Matt Joen
Charlotte, NC
Matt Joen serves as Director of Corporate Development, where he leads the organization’s growth strategy across acquisitions, practice affiliations, and de novo expansion. He partners closely with executive leadership and operations to build and execute the pipeline that scales the platform.
Matt is responsible for the full corporate development lifecycle — sourcing and qualifying acquisition targets, leading valuation and financial analysis, managing due diligence, negotiating and executing transactions, and supporting post-close integration. He also contributes to operational improvement initiatives and ongoing performance monitoring across the affiliated practice base.
In addition to NorthPeak Dental, Matt is a Founding & Managing Partner at Timoneer Strategic Partners, a lower-middle-market private equity firm, where he serves on the Investment Committee and is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, transaction execution, operational improvement, and portfolio monitoring. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the Financial Sponsors Group at BMO Capital Markets, focusing on leveraged buyouts, strategic M&A, and IPO engagements for private equity-backed companies. He began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and subsequently held roles at Houlihan Lokey, Wells Fargo Securities, and Next IT Corporation.
Matt graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Cameron School of Business, earning a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Daniel Orichowskyj
Miami, FL
Daniel Orichowskyj serves as Director of Corporate Development, where he leads the organization's growth strategy across acquisitions, practice affiliations, and de novo expansion. He partners closely with executive leadership and operations to build and execute the pipeline that scales the platform.

He also contributes to operational improvement initiatives and ongoing performance monitoring across the affiliated practice base.
Prior to founding NorthPeak Dental, Daniel was an Investment Professional at Sculptor Capital Management, where he played a key role in the management of their substantial $1.5 Billion Real Estate private equity fund. In addition to NorthPeak, Daniel is a Partner at Greenspring Growth Partners, a family office and private equity firm focused on acquiring and scaling service-based businesses across the lower middle market.
Daniel earned his MBA from The Wharton School, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
